On a mild sunny day, Quivive 3 started their match against ACC 2 at their home ground.

Quivive 3 won the toss, opt to bowl first.

Skipper started using spinners straight away,Vishwa started superbly and created many chances but our fielders couldn’t convert it as a wicket. Siva came into the attack and picked up 1st wicket of ACC.

Losing their second wicket in a quick manner, ACC Batsman started building a partnership in the middle. With quick singles and doubles, their scores started raising towards 200. Both the set Batman’s scored fifty and got out. At the end of 34th over, ACC was 217/5.

Equally with miscommunications in the fielding, Quivive sprayed runs here and there. Finally, at the death, vidya controlled their Batman and Quivive winds up the 1st innings of ACC with 259/6.

Quivive 3 started chasing 260, Skipper Suku with attacking strategy sends Touseef along with Prasanna. Touseef gave us a good start scoring 33 runs in a short time and got out. Sukumar &Prasanna paired up with a positive mindset and made Quivive 3 into the run chase.

End of 11 overs, Quivive 3 lost 3 wickets scoring 66 runs. Amith and Sukumar gave us hope that the chase is still alive. With a fantastic 62 runs partnership, Suku got out by trying an elevated pull shot.

Without losing focus Vijay and Amith started playing their natural game. Almost a 100 run partnership between Vijay and Amith took us to the victory line. With 2 consecutive boundaries at the end, vidya wrapped up the chase with a winning shot.

With a great temperament under pressure, Vijay gave us hope along with Amith and scored 65 runs. He is our man of the match.
