With the CubZ and WolveZ programme nearing 40 participants, Qui Vive’s youth section continues to go from strength to strength.
Not only did we field four teams in the KNCB youth competition this summer, at U9, U11, U13 and U15 levels, but the number of our participants in the Dutch Lionesses programme has grown to four, with Aadhya Sharma and Sharvari Kote again selected for the U13 squad, Nidhi Patil moving up to the U15s and being joined there by Angel Edwin.
Our greatest cause for celebration, however, is Nidhi’s nomination as the KNCB’s Lionesses Player of the Year in the U13 side. We offer her hearty congratulations on this notable achievement!
The CubZ and WolveZ will continue to train in the Aristoshal on Sunday afternoons over the winter, under the leadership of Andrew Baird, Barani Dakshinamoorthy, Vignesh Velrajan and Kedar Bommidi. Assistance in coaching from any club members will be most welcome.
We’re also looking to expand the size of the group, hoping to reach 50 by the start of next summer. So please do encourage your friends, work colleagues and neighbours to bring their sons and daughters along. More information from youth coordinator Rod Lyall (firstname.lastname@example.org)!
